Salary: Category C £30,000 Categories C+E £32,000

Working Hours:
- Basic 45 hours worked Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm but a flexible approach to hours will be needed
Main requirements:
- Class C LGV licence essential
- Class E LGV licence preferred but training to this category can be provided for the right applicant
- Driver CPC essential
- Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Loadmac licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Customer service skills essential
- Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge essential
- Health and safety awareness essential
- Product knowledge desirable
- Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders
- Able to work as part of a team
Main purpose:
- To maximise branch performance by providing efficient deliveries to customers with a high level of customer service
Main tasks:
- Delivery of products to customers adhering to all traffic laws
- Liaising with transport manager to co-ordinate delivery routes, remaining flexible in order to restructure schedules if needed.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a vehicle mounted forklift
Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment
