Working Hours:

• Basic 45 hours worked Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm but a flexible approach to hours will be needed

Main requirements:

• Class C LGV licence essential
• Class E LGV licence preferred but training to this category can be provided for the right applicant
• Driver CPC essential
• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
• Loadmac licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
• Customer service skills essential
• Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge essential
• Health and safety awareness essential
• Product knowledge desirable
• Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders
• Able to work as part of a team

Main purpose:

• To maximise branch performance by providing efficient deliveries to customers with a high level of customer service

Main tasks:

• Delivery of products to customers adhering to all traffic laws
• Liaising with transport manager to co-ordinate delivery routes, remaining flexible in order to restructure schedules if needed.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using a vehicle mounted forklift
