Hours:

Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm

 

Main purpose of job:

Duties will include responsibility for building relationships with new and existing customers, driving sales within the branch, maximise branch performance by increasing turnover and margin through sales and related stock management, sales quotations, telephone sales, liaising with other departments and covering the sales counter.

 

Main tasks of the job:

  • Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering and, where possible, exceeding customers’ expectations
  • Dealing promptly and efficiently with queries
  • Building business relationships with key customers
  • Taking and processing correctly customers’ telephoned orders
  • Handling customers’ payments
  • Managing ledgers and developing own customer base
  • Liaison with suppliers and purchasing stock within the company’s timescale criteria

  • Experience in related industry
  • Good administrative, organisation and numerical skills
